ONLINE CHAT ROOMS

What kind of Chat Rooms do you sponsor?

Anyone can join one of our chat rooms. We currently use Skype (PC and Mac) for:

Conference Calls (Audio only)

·      Conference Calls are labeled (CC) on the Internet Study Schedule

·      Participants of Conference Calls can join the Call from anywhere, provided they have Internet access

·      Participants can actually talk to and hear one another

Video Chats (Audio and Video)

·      Video Chats are labeled (VC) on the Internet Study Schedule

·      Participants of Video Chats must assemble in one place; so unless you go to that location, you cannot participate in this kind of chat

·      Participants can see, talk to, and hear Dr. Lee who can see, talk to, and hear them

How do I join a chat room?

To join a chat room:

·      Click on Internet Study Schedule and choose a chat room to join

·      Click on the Internet Study Instructions either for PC or Mac and set up Skype on your computer

·      Be sure to email your Skype name to Tommi Emerson, our Online Group Coordinator and add her Skype name, tommigirlmontana, plus Dr. G's Skype name, discipler1 to your list of Skype partners. You can "test" your connection by launching Skype and Skype chatting with either Tommi or Dr. G. Just click on their name on your Skype list and wait for them to "pick up the phone." If neither is online at the time, either email tommieme@bresnan.net or drlee@biblestudyinstitute.org, or phone 406-696-0056 or 406-529-8820 to arrange a mutually convenient "test" time.

·      Be sure to launch Skype on your computer about 10-15 minutes before the scheduled meeting, so we can start on time. Either Tommi or Dr.G will invite you to chat.
